Pricing

Priced by the plan, not by the graft

One figure for the whole procedure — consultation, surgery and the first year of follow-up included.

How per-graft pricing became normal

Per-graft pricing spread because it is easy to advertise. A low per-graft figure reads well in a comparison and leaves the total open until the day of surgery, when the count is produced by the clinic doing the counting.

It also creates two incentives that work against the patient: count generously, and spread grafts over a wider area so more of them are needed. Neither improves the result.

Why we price differently

We quote by donor area harvested and the complexity of the plan. The figure is fixed before you book and does not move on the day, whatever the final unit count turns out to be.

That removes the arithmetic from surgery day and lets the surgical decision be clinical: place what the area needs at the density we agreed, not what the invoice prefers.

What your price includes

01

Consultation and planning

Measurement, design and a written plan before any commitment.

02

The procedure

Surgeon, technical team, anaesthesia and facility — no itemised extras.

03

Medication

Post-operative medications and the aftercare kit.

04

Follow-up

Reviews at day ten, month three, month six, month twelve and month eighteen.

Comparing quotes between clinics

01

Ask for the total

Not the per-graft rate. Then ask what makes it change.

02

Ask who operates

In many clinics the surgeon makes sites and technicians do the rest. Know which you are buying.

03

Ask what the density target is

If the answer is only a graft number, there is no target.

04

Ask what follow-up costs

Year-one reviews are where problems get caught.
